Paisavania
You are a paisa arriero lost in the mountains trying to get back home safely using your trusty machete. Get health boosts and abilities like dash (You need to unlock this ability after beating a challenge) and double jump
Use keys:
Z to jump, X to attack and C to dash ().
A D or left and right arrows to move.
ESC to pause and Enter to select
It is an early project that needs a lot of work.

Really cool game, the combat is pretty satisfying. I had to stop about halfway through though. I dashed into a floating platform and clipped inside. The movement was pretty fun, but the controls hurt my wrist (laptop).
Great start and pause menu. A lot of types of enemies. Really liked the life on the top of the enemies, it was a nice touch. Scare me to death when I caught a small heart. I would try to zoom in a little bit, the view is to big, specially with the parallax background, turns it in a dizzy effect. Could not dash, maybe a bug or something on my side.
But you have a lot of work already. Good work.
Thanks for commenting. I'm working on improving the parallax, the dash is unlocked after defeating the enemies in a room and the double jump is hidden somewhere on the map.
